I loved the whole chapter‑a‑day Advent concept — such a lovely idea for December reading. Of course, I caved and kept going… and before I knew it, I’d finished the entire book. No regrets at all.
It’s cosy, warm, festive, and exactly the kind of gentle Christmas story that hits the spot at this time of year. I ended up finishing it early on the 20th of December, and honestly, it was just what I needed.
A sweet, comforting seasonal read — and a solid 3 stars from me.
